1. Will the satellite operate while the vehicle
is moving?
No, the antenna will automatically stow upon the
detection of movement.
2. How fast does the satellite system deploy and
become operational?
The satellite system deploys with a literal click
of the mouse and takes about 7-8 minutes to find and lock onto
the satellite. At that time, you are connected to the internet
with a high speed connection.
3. Can I conduct Video Conferencing and high quality
video streaming?
The answer has multiple parts; The TEAM system can
be equipped with a higher bandwidth satellite package that will
support high quality video streaming at 30 fps and multi point
video conferencing. The baseline satellite system is capable of
supporting web conferencing and low frame rate video streaming
and FTP transfers.
4. How quickly can the shelter be mounted or dismounted
from the prime mover?
The shelter dismounts via a four jack system in
about 5 minutes by two crew members. The mounting process takes
a few minutes longer. Once dismounted, the shelter is fully operational
and stable enough to work inside.
5. What kind of radios can the T.E.A.M. system
cross band?
The radio interoperability subsystem can handle
most existing Land Mobile Radios which include VHF, UHF, 800mhz,
Trunk/Talk Around. In addition, the system is capable of cross
band Nextel type Direct connect phones, most cell phones, standard
telephone and Military SINCGARS radios.
6. How is the T.E.A.M. system powered?
The T.E.A.M. system is capable of running on the vehicle power called Real Power generator installed between the truck’s frame rails options of a 12kw or 15kw. The system can also draw power from external sources such as a generator or 110V shore power. The T.E.A.M. system was designed with a power distribution panel that also provides DC to AC or AC to DC power inversion.
7. How does the T.E.A.M. system provide telephone
access?
T.E.A.M. comes equipped with a cellular telephone
base station that can provide access to existing cell networks
from extended ranges. The base station can provide access for
up to 3 different numbers. This base station supports the use
of multiple Fax, Analog phone, and Modem devices.
